Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how TradeStream Marketing Corp ("we", "us", or "PermitStream Pro") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PermitStream Pro service available at permitstreampro.com (the "Service").
We are a Florida corporation with our principal mailing address at 9610 NW 24th St, Sunrise, FL 33322.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account data — name, email, hashed password, and (for contractor users) license information you provide.
- Project data you upload — permit application templates, NOCs, product approval documents, photos, drawings, scope descriptions, and the project parameters you enter.
- Information about property owners and parcels that you enter into the Service for the purpose of preparing permit documents (names, addresses, folio/parcel IDs, signatures collected from clients).
- Payment data — handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
- Vendor integration data — when you use optional third-party services we integrate (notarization, certified mailing, eRecording), the data needed for that vendor to complete the transaction.
- Usage and log data — IP address, user agent, requested URLs, timestamps, and actions taken in the Service, used for security, abuse prevention, and audit purposes.
- Communications — emails, chat messages, and support requests you send to us.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the Service — generating permit document packages from your templates and data;
- To authenticate users and protect against fraud and abuse;
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, security, and product updates;
- To improve and develop new features (in aggregated or de-identified form);
- To operate our proprietary AI learning model as described in our Terms of Service, including only the anonymized technical patterns you elect to contribute;
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell or "share" (as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act) your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers — hosting (Supabase), AI model providers, email delivery, payment processing (Stripe), notarization/certified-mail/eRecording vendors when you elect to use them. These providers are bound by contractual confidentiality and data-use restrictions.
- At your direction — when you submit a permit to a building department, send a document for signature, or share data with a connected third-party app you authorized.
- Legal compliance and safety — when required by valid legal process or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Corporate transactions — in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case the recipient will be bound by privacy commitments at least as protective as this Policy.
4. Public-records context
Construction permits become public records once filed with a building department. This Privacy Policy governs the copy of your information held within the PermitStream service, not the public-records status of any filing made with a governmental authority.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication, session management, security, and fraud prevention. We may use optional analytics cookies in the future, only if you grant consent through our cookie banner. We do not use advertising cookies or pixel trackers. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to manage your choices.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and project data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account at any time. We retain some records longer when required by law (for example, financial records for tax and audit purposes).
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including TLS-encrypted connections, encrypted storage, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the rights below. To exercise any of them, email privacy@tradestreammarketing.com.
